Principal Residence Exemption
A Principal Residence Exemption exempts an owner’s principal residence from the school operations tax. In general, this exemption is only valid on one residence. Owners of multiple residences must determine which home is their principal residence. Rental homes are not eligible. To qualify for this exemption, you must own and occupy the home by May 1st.
