Facility Rental Information

Applications

Applications for use of township facilities will be considered on a first-received, first-served basis, with applications being made at the township office during regular business hours and within 12 months of the date requested.

NOTE: The township does not reserve the soccer fields. They are operated on a first-come/first-served basis.

Park Rentals

The township cares for two beautiful parks, which are ideal for reunions, family get-togethers, anniversaries, and other outdoor activities. Both parks have a pavilion, bathrooms, ball fields, river access with canoe launch, and play equipment for children of all ages.

Heritage Park has its entrance behind the Township Hall. It has an artesian well, walking trails, tennis courts, a volleyball pit, a fire pit, and horseshoe pit, and a pickleball court. There are two 20-amp circuits at Heritage Park.

Gloria Miller Looking Glass Valley Park is located next to the Wacousta Cemetery and is visible from Wacousta Road. It has a basketball court. There is one 20-amp circuit at Looking Glass Valley Park.

Community Center

The Wallace F. Watt Community Center (gym) sits just behind the Township Hall. The air-conditioned facility has a maximum occupancy of 125.

The main floor of the gym is 40' x 60'. There are two basketball hoops (short court) and a shuffleboard area. Rectangular tables (8') and metal folding chairs are available.

The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, two stoves, a commercial sink, a garbage disposal, a food prep area, and additional outlets.

The facility, including restrooms, is handicap-accessible.
