The Voter Identification Requirement is in effect for those casting a ballot in person and for those who pick up their absentee voter ballot in person. An affidavit can be completed for voters not in possession of picture identification. Acceptable forms of ID are:
Michigan driver's license or state ID
Driver's license or personal identification card issued by another state
Federal or state government-issued photo identification
U.S. passport
Military ID with photo
Student identification with a photo from a high school or an accredited institution of higher learning
