Vendors Ordinance
A vendor's ordinance is in effect within the township. The purpose of this ordinance is to regulate vendors, peddlers, solicitors, etc., to provide licensing for the same; and to provide a penalty for violations to protect the public health, safety, and welfare.
A license is required for vending, soliciting, or peddling within the township; the current license fee is listed in the Township Fee Schedule. Vending activity is prohibited at a private residence before 9 am and after 7 pm. Vending is not permitted on property where the owner or occupant has posted a "no soliciting" or similar sign on premises.
